What makes a name valuable
Length
Shorter is rarer. One- and two-character names sit at the top, then 3L/3C, then 4L. Beyond about six letters, length counts against a name.
Realness
A final is a complete dictionary word, the most desirable kind of name. Semis (near-words, variations), names and brands, and slang come next. Made-up strings are worth the least.
Platform
Demand follows the platform. Telegram, Instagram and X command the highest prices, and newer apps trade for a few dollars.
Theme & demand
Common, punchy words (ghost, star, salt) and popular niches (anime, Pokémon, "dark" or edgy words, drugs, cars) attract buyers.
Cleanliness
"No past owners", OGE included, not "fonted", not proxied, never pulled. Each of these raises the price.
Extras
Minecraft capes, Discord badges, early creation dates, account age, and verified or partnered status.

- Instagram is back but restricted after the Meta conflict, and only upgraded members can see it.
- TikTok passkey pullbacks are common enough that checker bots are now standard.
- Sellers want a Sellix replacement since the 2025 takedowns.
- New platforms (Hytale, Kick, ROOT) attract speculation, with prices from about $13 to $500.
- Development is saturated. Many sellers compete on price.
