|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fortune | $6.99 | 1 month | ±1 | 1,000 | Post in the marketplace, add a signature, image covers on posts, custom usertitle, userbar and username color, award sorting, message tracking |
| Solar | $12.99 | Lifetime | ±2 | 2,000 | Change username, delete or junk your own threads, close and reopen threads, profile background, username animation, "Solar" thread prefix |
| Void | $18.99 | Lifetime | ±3 | 3,000 | Claim usernames from inactive accounts, scan members, view the ban list, clear your username history, "Void" prefix |
| Apollo | $69.99 | Lifetime | ±5 | 10,000 | See hidden content without replying, see hidden members, profile video or music, post in Currency Exchange |
Prices from the Upgrade page, Nov 2026. Payment is by crypto or card, and there are no refunds.
Ranks & flags
| Rank / flag | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Admin | Owners and operators of the site |
| Staff | Moderators who handle reports and decide deal disputes |
| Mentor | Helpers. Mentors are often promoted to Staff later. |
| Trusted | Official middlemen and the only members allowed to advertise MM services. Chosen by staff, sometimes after community feedback. |
| Verified | Vetted sellers. Usually the step before Trusted, and it can be taken away. |
| Donator badges | Show money given to the site, for example "$2000 donator" |
| DWC | "Deal with caution", a public warning placed on members who've shown risky or dishonest behavior |
| Banned / placeholder | Banned and deleted members' names are sometimes locked to a placeholder so nobody can impersonate them |
Reputation & vouches
Reputation
- A +/− score that only upgraded members can give (anyone can receive it). Higher upgrades make each rep count for more, up to ±5.
- It shows activity, not trustworthiness.
- You can only ask for rep after you've completed a deal with someone.
- Rep that accuses someone of scamming must link to a deal dispute.
- Rep trading, rep-for-rep, gang repping and buying rep are all banned.
Vouches
- A public record of a completed deal. Anyone with more than 15 posts can give one.
- It must link the sales thread.
- The deal must be worth at least $5, and free middleman deals can't be vouched.
- Buying, selling or asking for vouches is banned.
- The public Vouch Log shows every recent vouch on the site.
Reading a profile
- Look at the deals behind the vouches (size, dates, who gave them), not just the count.
- A long gap since the last activity on an upgraded account can mean it's been hacked or resold.
- Check the join date and username history.
Paid visibility & credits
Sticky threads
Bars are scaled to the one-year price. A sticky pins your thread to the top of its section and is applied automatically after payment.
Credits
The site's currency. You buy them from OGU or from other members in the Credits Market, and can spend them on:
- Stickies, sales tags, styled thread titles and styled usernames
- An autobumper
- Awards and limited items
Some long-time members hold millions of credits.
Bumping
- Bumping moves your thread back to the top. You can bump every 31 minutes, or right after someone else replies.
- Don't bump more than 10 threads at once, or post repeated "bump" replies that flood the recent posts list.
- Paid bump plans and the autobumper exist, but bump services sold by members are banned.
Inactivity & names on OGU
To keep an account active, log in and post at least once a month. Usernames on inactive accounts can be released, and a permanent ban counts as inactivity. Void members can claim released usernames, which is why OGU's own short usernames are valuable too.
Never sell or share your OGU account. Members have been banned, or placed in DWC, for trying to sell their forum accounts.
